Events

The nursery closes from October 31st to March 1st, during that time we open on certain dates for the National Garden Scheme. During our closed season, we welcome visitors by appointment, or take a chance and come on a Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday from 10am to 2pm when there is usually someone there.

In 2024 the nursery garden will be open for the National Gardens Scheme and Plant Heritage an opportunity to visit and have a guided tour of the garden in small groups. Hot drink and biscuits available on those days and an entrance fee is requested.

27th January 2024 to see the winter flowering shrubs- a tour of the garden takes place at 11am 12noon 1pm and 2pm. You are welcome to wander on your own as well.

20th April 2024 to see the specie Peonies.

6th to 8th June 2024 for the Digitalis and the Intersectional Peonies *open in conjunction with Rookery Cottage Garden

19th October 2024 for the joy of autumn
